COL DEL BALT in the heart of Conegliano Valdobbiadene.
The recently recognized as a World Heritage Site COL DEL BALT vineyards are nestled in the heart of the Prosecco Hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene. The evocative landscape is made up of hilly ridges, green hills and small woods, among which are the famous Glera vines, the main ingredient of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene Prosecco DOCG.
The unique landscape is the result of the harmonious link between nature and man: over the centuries, farmers have shaped the rugged terrain and introduced new techniques for the cultivation of the vine, until they gave the territory its current evocative chessboard pattern.
The Prosecco DOCG terroir extends over 15 municipalities located in the hilly area of the upper Treviso region, between Vittorio Veneto and Valdobbiadene. Here, the soil rich in minerals and the temperate climate represent the ideal conditions for the cultivation, mainly by hand, of the Glera variety.
La strada del Prosecco

Not only wine, but a whole region to discover and explore.
Along with the famous wine there are other local delicacies, such as the ever-present sopressa, red radicchio from Treviso and many varieties of cheeses.
Besides being an enogastronomical jewel, the land of Prosecco Conegliano – Valdobbiadene is also characterized by the presence of many historical and artistic sites.
Medieval fortifications and castles, small secular churches, abbeys and painted villas are just some of the splendid cultural attractions of the territory.
The Prosecco Hills can also rely on the nearby cities of art and municipalities such as Possagno, a treasure trove of works by Canova; moreover, the nature trails of the Piave River and the historical evidence of the Great War offer further proof of the exceptional uniqueness of the area.
